imagi is a great way to teach kids Python, but its lessons are built for a traditional classroom. At Spring Academy, every student learns on a personalized path, so we are working to recreate the magic of imagi for that journey: short puzzles to learn each skill, then a design challenge to show it. Here is what we have so far.

David Novak Leadership hired me to reimagine their K–12 learning experience. Using a design thinking process, our team built a pilot program that teaches David’s leadership principles through service learning projects. It lives in advisory, a common middle school structure that many schools want to rethink. The pilot is now running at sites across the country, and we aim to scale what we learn. Friday hired me to develop curricular resources for NYC-based STEM From Dance. As the lead learning designer on the project, I conceptualize and create easy-to-deliver learning experiences that bring high-quality STEM and dance education to girls across the country.

The Laws of Learning is a passion project—an attempt to gather and make sense of what centuries of thinkers, decades of researchers, and countless teachers and learners have shown us about how people actually learn.

School of Thought is an internal podcast about teaching and learning at Zurich International School. “For teachers, by teachers,” each episode highlights voices in our community, sparking meaningful conversations on important topics.

Zurich International School asked me to lead a working group examining the school's approach to SEL. Guiding a 13-member team, I designed a mixed-methods research study to map existing practices, assess stakeholder perceptions, and identify actionable next steps. Here’s what we found.
